Squarely Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

This policy explains how Squarely (the "App"), published by Friske Enterprises ("we", "us"), handles your information. It covers the Squarely apps for iOS and Android and the web version at playsquarely.com.

The short version

Squarely does not require an account and does not collect, sell or share your personal information. Your game progress is stored only on your device.

Information stored on your device

To save your game, the App stores the following locally on your device: your current board, puzzle results, streaks, statistics and settings. This data never leaves your device and we cannot see it. Deleting the App (or clearing your browser's site data on the web) removes it permanently.

Information we collect

Sharing your information

We do not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties for marketing. When you share a result using the App's share feature, you choose where it goes; the shared text contains only your puzzle result, not personal information.

Children's privacy

Squarely is suitable for all ages. Because the App does not collect personal information, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices and rights

As no personal data is held by us from the App, there is nothing for us to access or delete. Data on your device is under your control. If you have contacted us by email and want that correspondence deleted, email us and we will do so.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
